We are extremely excited to announce that you are now Virgin Active Padellers.

Epic Padel has partnered with Virgin Active South Africa to turbo charge the growth of Virgin Active Padel Club. 

This partnership will see Epic Padel clubs at Huddle Park (Johannesburg), Durbanville, The Glen and The EPICENTRE (South Africa’s first multi-court indoor arena) rebrand as Virgin Active Padel Club.

A rapid expansion is planned with brand new padel clubs built at Virgin Active clubs and other sites across South Africa over the next few years. New Virgin Active Padel Clubs at Randpark Golf Club (Johannesburg) and Pretoria are already in progress.

While we are getting a sexy new rebrand, rest assured that existing and new Virgin Active Padel Clubs are open to everyone - Virgin Active members and non-members alike - allowing anyone to book courts via Playtomic, and buy and rent padel merchandise. All players will also have access to bathroom and locker room facilities, food and beverage offerings, coaching, socials, leagues, and tournaments. 

Virgin Active members

In addition, Virgin Active members are be eligible to become Virgin Active Padel Club members at no additional cost. This membership will entitle them to benefits such as: 

• 20% discount off court bookings
• Priority bookings - court bookings will be open to members in advance of non-members so they have a better chance to book the court and times they want
• 10% discounts on Adidas rackets and bags from Virgin Active Padel Club pro shops
• Invitations to Virgin Active Padel Club events
• Access to Virgin Active Padel Club WhatsApp groups - great for arranging games and getting all the news first

Existing Epic Padel members

For existing Epic Padel members, you will continue to enjoy the same benefits until your membership runs out. However, we will not be offering new memberships or membership renewals. Instead if you want to enjoy member benefits, you will need to sign up as a Virgin Active member. 

Co-founders Elian Wiener, Adam Fine and Richard Lewis, as well as the rest of the epic team, will continue to drive the expansion of the business and stay true to their mission of creating padel clubs where all South Africans can get fit, have fun and socialise.
